The award for “Wine Producer of the Year” at this year's national wine and sparkling wine awards went to the Ernst Bretz winery from Bechtolsheim in Rheinhessen. The wine cooperative Britzingen / Markgräflerland eG from Müllheim in Baden was named "Sekt Producer of the Year". Both companies received a federal gold award.
