German Wine Institute expands market research with Wine Intelligence

The German Wine Institute (DWI) announces the collaboration with Wine Intelligence Ltd. to expand its access to market and consumer insights worldwide.


The agreement gives DWI and its overseas information bureaus access to market and consumer insights for the most important German export markets (Belgium, Canada, China, Finland, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States) and the domestic German market. The Wine Intelligence reports provide comprehensive data and insights on consumer drinking and shopping behaviour, consumer segmentation, packaging preferences, comparative assessment of export markets as well as general market and consumption trends. The DWI report shop comprises 45 reports for the focus markets and is regularly updated.

DWI employees and overseas information bureaus have unrestricted access to information in the DWI report shop. DWI can provide the German wine industry with selected data and summaries to inform about up-to-date trends, data and insights. Interested German companies are granted attractive discounts on published Wine Intelligence report prices. The collaboration will be coordinated by Mr. Eberhard Abele, DWI head for advertising / market research and Wilhelm Lerner, Country Manager Wine Intelligence for Germany.
