IWC Trophy for Schloss Reinhartshausen


The Rheingau winery Schloss Reinhartshausen won the German White Trophy and the International Riesling Trophy at this year's International Wine Challenge (IWC). Their gold medal Riesling from the 2015 vintage was rated 96 points.

German wines achieved two gold medals in the 2021 Challenge held in London. The Erbacher Siegelsberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs 2015 from Schloss Reinhartshausen scored 96 points. The jurors awarded the Würzburg Pfaffenberg Silvaner Auslese 2018 from the Reiss winery in Franken one point less.

A total of 36 German wines were awarded a medal including 10 silver and 24 bronze. The jury made a recommendation for an additional five German wines.
