Google Trends proves growing popularity of mulled wine
During the advent and Christmas season, mulled wines are on high demand in Germany. They are being produced by winemakers, cooperatives and cellars alike. A Google Trends analysis shows that "Glühwein" is searched online twice as often as ten years ago.
Germany's wine culture is an intangible cultural heritage
On November 18, 2021, the ceremonial awarding of certificates for the nationwide directory of intangible cultural heritage took place in the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus. In 2021, a total of 20 new forms of cultural expression were added to the directory, including wine culture in Germany.Read more
