Tomasz Prange-Barczyński is one of Poland's best-known and most respected wine critics, authors, editors and wine jurors. Journalism courses through his veins, but his heart belongs to wine. Since entering into a wine tasting group back in 1988 he has authored over 500 weekly radio broadcasts about wine and his written for major lifestyle magazines such as Playboy, Marie Claire and Newsweek. He has also produced and moderated a series of successful wine round tables and series for Polish television.

In 2002 Tomasz Prange-Barczyński joined with a group of wine authors to create Poland's first independent wine magazine, "Magazyn Wino," where he served for 15 years as editor-in-chief. He is also an editor for leading Polish and international wine journals, online wine portals and high-circulation gourmet magazines. In hundreds of educational events, workshops and tastings for both experts and consumers, he has proven a skilled and sure guide through the world of wine, and wine nation Germany in particular.

Tomasz Prange-Barczyński has long served as an ambassador for German wines in Poland. The German wine regions, wine producers and their wines are perpetually a standard part of his many articles and recommendations. He has made an enormous contribution to Poland's rise into one of the most important export markets for German wine producers.
