Cocktails
If you’re on the lookout for new and even exotic flavours to tickle your taste buds, you can create wonderful cocktails using wine, sparkling wine, spirits and other ingredients. And then there are wines you will like to savour slowly, as a long drink in the true sense of the word. Here are some suggestions:
Hawaii Klassik
- 6 cl Scheurebe late vintage (Spätlese)
- 4 cl pineapple juice
- 4 cl orange juice
- 1 cl peach nectar
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 cl peach liqueur
Put the ingredients and 3 ice cubes in a shaker and shake quickly. Pour in a highball glass and add crushed ice or another 4 ice cubes. Decorate with a slice of lime and a piece of pineapple or one quarter of a peach.
Kir Imperial
- 2 cl raspberry liqueur
- Chasselas (Gutedel) or Pinot Blanc
Pour the liqueur in a 0.2 l wine glass and top up with the chilled wine.
Midnight Magic (Mitternachtszauber)
- 6 cl noble-sweet Riesling
- 2 cl brandy (preferably a winegrower’ s Riesling brandy )
- 2 cl pineapple juice
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- Rieslingsekt brut
Put the Riesling, brandy, pineapple and lemon juice in the shaker with 3 ice cubes and shake quickly. Pour into a highball glass and top up with sparkling wine. Decorate with a slice of pineapple.
Kir (Aperitif)
- 2 cl Crême de Cassis
- Pinot Gris or Pinot Blanc
Pour the cassis in a 0.2 l wine glass and top up with the chilled wine.

Wine cocktails
German Glory (Aperitif)
- 4 cl orange juice
- 2 cl grenadine
- 1 cl lemon juice
- Pinot Blanc Sekt brut
Mix the juices and grenadine well in a champagne glass with 3 ice cubes or 2 tablespoons of crushed ice. Top up with sparkling wine, stir slowly once. Decorate with half a slice of orange.
Hollywood
- 3 cl orange liqueur
- 3 cl grapefruit juice
- 10 cl Rieslingsekt or Pinot Blanc Sekt brut
Put the liqueur, the juice and 3 ice cubes in a shaker and shake quickly. Pour the mixture into a champagne glass and top up with sparkling wine. Decorate with half a slice of orange.
Jamaica Dream
- 10 cl Pinot Noir dry
- 4 cl white rum
- 2 cl orange juice
- 1 cl lemon juice
- 1 cl grenadine
Stir all ingredients with 3 ice cubes in a highball glass. Decorate with both half a slice of orange and lemon.
Rosie (Aperitif)
- 4 cl Campari
- 1 cl orange liqueur
- 8 cl grapefruit juice
- 5 cl Rieslingsekt or Pinot Blanc Sekt brut
Quickly shake the Campari, liqueur and juice in a shaker with 3 ice cubes. Pour in a highball glass and add sparkling wine. Decorate with half a slice of orange.
Pick Me Up
- 3 cl brandy
- 1 cl lemon juice
- 1 tsp. grenadine syrup
- Rieslingsekt brut
Quickly shake the brandy, lemon juice and grenadine syrup in a shaker with three ice cubes. Pour in a champagne glass and top up with sparkling wine. Decorate with both half a slice of orange and lemon.
Cold Duck (Aperitif)
- 5 cl Riesling dry or semi-dry
- 5 cl Rieslingsekt brut
Pour the wine into a champagne flute or a small white wine glass. Add the sparkling wine and stir slowly once. Add a small piece of peel from an untreated lemon to the mixture.
