Importers felt well entertained by a diversified program and professional tastings, organised by Wines of Germany / The German Wine Institute (DWI).

DWI supports marketing and commercialization activities of Germany's wine makers by means of communications work as well as a collective presentation stand and -counter for exibiting vintners.

These collective stands ease first encounters of importers and the trade with individual wine producers from Germany. Additionally, seminars informing about modern wine and sparkeling wine trends were organised and financed by Wines of Germany.

The Netherlands belong to the most important export markets for German wines.
