12/16/2015

Shortly before her party congress december 14/15th in Karlsruhe, Germany's chancellor Angela Merkel visited reknowned restaurant "garbo" to enjoy Generation Riesling wines created by young vintner Christian Estelmann from Eugen Wambsganß winery in Landau, Palatinate.

The two selected wines for the chancellor were a Cabernet Sauvignon (2011) and a Riesling Kabinett (2013) that matched the buffet with specialities like trout and boiled beef fillets ("Tafelspitz").

The "garbo"-Team was delighted to welcome Angela Merkel by surprise.
