"Drink Pink": Rosé is in the spotlight in 2020

Rosé wines and sparkling wines have experienced an enormous increase in quality and image in recent years. The German Wine Institute will take up this trend in the coming year and place a special focus on the roses.


At the ProWein 2020, for example, the DWI will be presenting its trade fair appearance under the motto "Drink Pink" and presenting 20 outstanding roses to the specialist audience. The selection will be decided by an international expert jury from the most important export countries for German wines. The three wines / sect with the best rating will be awarded a special prize at the ProWein. The invitation to tender will be sent in December 2019.

In addition, rosé wines will also play a prominent role at many other national and international events, fairs and presentations with DWI participation, as well as in online and social media communication.
