Wines of Germany at the Vinexpo Bordeaux
This year will also mark the debut of a dedicated stand for Generation Riesling, with German Wine Princess Klara Zehnder answering questions about this exclusive selection of wines from the rising generation of winemakers. This edition of the Vinexpo in Bordeaux marks the 16th attended by the DWI, which will be looking to refresh and expand its international contacts with partners from the retail, restaurant and media industries.
The DWI will also be offering a range of topical seminars each day addressing current themes such as:
“License to Sparkle - German Premium Sekt"
"The Organic and Orange Movement in Germany"
"Germany´s Got Talent: Generation Riesling"
"Crisp and Light – Consumer‘s Delight"
"Riesling, Icewine & Co. – Beware Fruit Bombs"
To ensure a fond 'adieu,' the DWI will once again hold a "Happy Hour" to conclude each conference day with snacks and sparkling Winzersekt in the lounge of the shared stand.
The Vinexpo in Bordeaux is considered one of the most influential international wine trade fairs. Participation by German winegrowers has been organized and financed since 1989 by the German Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL). The DWI is responsible for providing wine expertise to international guests and running special events at the stand.
