GQ Japan features Germany's cool wines

In order to raise the awareness of Japanese consumers to Germany as the "coolest" wine country, the German Wine Institute invited Japanese GQ magazine's editorial staff on a journey through the German wine-growing regions in the middle of September 2018.


The medial processing of the journalists went online now. During company visits to the Mosel, the Nahe, in Rheinhessen, the Palatinate and in the Rheingau the journalists were able to get to know the modern wine styles and were enthusiastic about the philosophy of the new generation of winemakers. This resulted in a total of nine videos on various topics (eg "German wine philosophy", "Rules to get good grapes" or "How to enjoy Riesling"), which is published in a weekly rhythm as "GQ Taste" on the various online channels of the magazine:
