New technology and fresh look for Generation Riesling


The newly designed Generation Riesling website focuses on the young ambassadors of Germany's innovative, high-quality and dynamic wine production. Visitors are given up-to-date information on wine presentation dates domestically and abroad by members of the world's largest organization of young winemakers.

Direct links to picture galleries on Facebook and YouTube videos make it easy for users to access an even wider range of online content.

The modern look and intuitive navigation are based upon a variety of technical improvements. Young winemakers can register directly on the website in order to join the open minded Generation Riesling initiative. They will then have the opportunity to edit their profiles in a personalized area of and announce own events. Furthermore, the website comes optimized for search engines and allows for speaking urls to be used. Since the site is fully responsive, it seamlessly adapts to different devices, regardless of whether a desktop computer or smartphone is used.

The web design resumes the new logo which was designed in 2016 on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of Generation Riesling. At present, about 550 winemakers under 35 years of age from the German quality wine regions belong to this initiative of the German Wine Institute (DWI). The purpose of Generation Riesling is to features wines, take a look at winemakers' personalities and announce upcoming events.
