Wine ambassador lectures tourism students from Hong Kong

Visiting students from the "School of Hotel and Tourism Management" in Hong Kong met Germany's Wine Princess Julianae Schäfer at Geisenheim University. In an inspiring lecture she encouraged the Chinese guests to experience the 13 German regions and their typical wines.


Juliane Schäfer provided the students with important basic knowledge about the 13 German wine-growing regions.

The visit of the university and the wine regions completed the semester program of the visitors from Hong Kong.

"One cannot substitute the individual and personal tasting experience," explains Juliane Schäfer. In the "German Basics" seminar, the wine princess presented facts and insights about the German wine market and the versatile German grape varieties.
