"R"-events and ClinkDifferent: dense program in 2020

The DWI provides important sales and quality impulses to Germany's wine branch by organising numerous tasting events - e.g. so called "R" events - for the press and the trade as well as individual consumers alike. One example is the ongoing and combined ClinkDifferent campaign in the USA that is being rolled out together with Bordeaux wines until 2021. Wines of Germany media analyses have proven that a continuously growing number of connoisseurs look out for Riesling and Pinot Noir from Germany.
Communication with the media and winegrowers will be further intensified
With broadly effective media such as podcasts and radio, even more end-consumers will be reached emotionally in the future. The DWI's measures will not only boost public interest in wines from German growing regions. It is going to reach new multipliers, such as travel and lifestyle journalists or bloggers and influencers. In addition, the use of social media channels will be intensified in order to support the diverse DWI communications and marketing measures.
