Competition in the context of The Best Vineyard Views
All those who have a picture with the Best Vineyard View on Facebook from August 1st to November 30th, 2020, including the hashtag # SchönsteWeinsichtenGewinnspiel #Anbaugebiet (must be entered individually), will take part in the raffle. Only one participation per person is possible.
The German Wine Queen will draw three photos at the beginning of December 2020 and contestants can win one of the prizes listed below.
The winners will be informed in the comment of the respective photo and asked for their contact details if they are among the winners at the beginning of December.
General conditions of participation and data protection declaration
The organizer of this competition is the Deutsche Weininstitut GmbH, Platz des Weines 2, 55294 Bodenheim, Germany.
Only natural persons residing in Germany who have reached the age of 18 (except employees of the German Wine Institute) are allowed to participate. By participating in the competition, the participant accepts these conditions of participation.
Participation is possible by the date stated in the competition at the latest; Subsequent entries will no longer be taken into account in the draw, regardless of what caused the delay.
Only the prizes named in the competition will be raffled:
1st Prize: High-quality binoculars worth 100 euros and 6 bottles of German wine
2nd Prize: High quality picnic backpack (contents for 4 people) and 6 bottles of German wine
3rd Prize: T-shirt and Riesling cap for 2 people and 3 bottles of German wine (sizes of T-shirts are requested)
The selection is made by lottery.
Posts, photos and other content ("user content") that participants post on the Facebook page as part of the competition may not be viewed as obscene, insulting, defamatory, ethically objectionable, glorifying violence, pornographic, harassing, racist, seditious, xenophobic, right-wing extremist and / or to be regarded as otherwise reprehensible.
With regard to the published photo, the participant assures that he has all rights to the photo used, that he has unrestricted exploitation rights for all parts of the image, that the photo is free from third-party rights and that no personal rights are violated when depicting people. If one or more people are recognizable in the photos, those concerned must give their consent to the photo being published. The participant will ensure the above in writing upon request. However, should third parties assert claims for infringement of their rights, the participant shall indemnify Deutsche Weininstitut GmbH from all claims. Photos edited on the computer must not contain parts from websites, magazines, books, purchased CDs, etc. The Deutsche Weininstitut GmbH reserves the right to exclude photos that do not meet one or more of these criteria from the competition.
We reserve the right to cancel or interrupt the competition at any time without prior notice. This applies in particular if, for technical reasons (e.g. viruses in the computer system, manipulation or errors in the hardware and / or software) or for legal reasons, proper implementation of the competition cannot be guaranteed.
In order to send the prize, it is necessary to provide the postal address of the participants to the Deutsche Weininstitut GmbH. If the winner does not contact us within three working days of being notified of the prize (by personal notification on Facebook or by commenting on the winner's entry), the expiry of the entitlement to the prize is at our discretion. The prize will only be sent to the specified address within Germany. The parcel service will carry out an identity check upon delivery with a check of the minimum age.
A transfer of prize claims is not permitted. There are no claims to alternative cash payments.
Legal recourse is final with regard to the award of the prize.
The participants acknowledge that the competition has no connection with Facebook and is in no way sponsored, supported or organized by Facebook. By participating in the competition, the participant releases Facebook from all liability. All inquiries and information regarding the competition are to be sent to the Deutsche Weininstitut GmbH and not to Facebook.
Data Protection
The Deutsche Weininstitut GmbH, as the responsible body, collects, processes and uses all personal data communicated in the context of this competition in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations. Personal data in this sense are the following personal data provided by you in the context of the competition: first and last name, Facebook username and, if necessary, the postal address in the case of a winning notification and, to check the minimum age, the date of birth as well as all other information provided by you in the context of the competition held by the Deutsche Weininstitut GmbH. The Deutsche Weininstitut GmbH does not pass this personal data on to third parties. The collection, processing and use of your data serves the sole purpose of carrying out the competition.
