Mercure Hotel Hannover City
Lower Saxony's first Riesling Lounge was opened in January 2013 at the Mercure Hotel Hannover City. Vintner evenings have been held there regularly since autumn 2013. As well as the excellent range of events that hotel director Ulrich Heim and his team offer guests, they also have a very extensive range of local wines on their Grands Vins Mercure menu, as well as an additional wine menu with exclusive Rieslings from many German winegrowing regions.
The restaurants of the Mercure chain are characterized by extensive wine lists and excellently trained staff. At the beginning of 2014, Mercure received a special award for their wine program in the "Excellent Wine Gastronomy" competition.
